LOUD Make History in Shanghai with Second VALORANT World Title

The Brazilian organisation beat Team Vitality 3-1 to become the first team to win VALORANT Champions twice.

LOUD are champions of the world again. The Brazilian side defeated Team Vitality 3-1 in the grand final of VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai on October 18, adding a second world crown to the one they claimed in Istanbul in 2022.

The final swung both ways early on. LOUD edged a tense opener on Summit 13-11, before Vitality hit back convincingly on Lotus, 13-8. From there, the Brazilians took control, dominating Sunset 13-5 and closing out the series on Haven, 13-10.

Captain Roberto “erde” Lobos was named the final’s MVP after leading his team through the decisive maps.

A long road to the trophy

LOUD arrived in China as the second seed from the Americas. After sweeping EDward Gaming and Global Esports in the group stage, they lost to Vitality and had to settle for second place in Group B.

The playoffs told a different story. LOUD swept Paper Rex, got past defending champions NRG in the upper semi-final and then beat Vitality 2-1 in the upper final. The European side fought back through the lower bracket, defeating 100 Thieves 3-1 to set up a rematch, but LOUD had the answers once more.

The prize

The victory earned LOUD $1 million from a total prize pool of $2.25 million.
